With Discon in thought, you can make other puzzles with the same principle. Tiles and Tubes exist out of eleven wooden plates with one to five holes. The total amount of holes in 30, so you need 10 little pins with a length of three plates.

If you make this puzzle out of wooden plates with a dimension of 11 x 11 x 1 cm, the constructed figure will become a cube. In stead of wooden tubes you can also take plastic or metal pins as connection  pieces.
