This puzzle looks a bit like Triocross, because Altekrus has the same kind of connections as Triocross. The puzzle is formed out of fourteen pieces whit the same shape. All pieces have three notches. The length of the rods is 1 x 1 x 6 units. The pieces are shown in the diagram on the bottom of this page. 

Putting the pieces together is not as easy as it looks. In fact the puzzle can be divided into two parts of seven pieces. Those halves are exactly the same and can be shuffle together to form the puzzle. The second half must be constructed partly in the first half. Success in making and solving this puzzle.
