This puzzle is made with the same principle as the slant notches from the wooden knot puzzle. This puzzle is made of fifteen rods. The precise length of the rods doesn't really matter, but if you make this puzzle for yourself don't make the rods too long. In the picture shown her is the length of the pieces 6,5 times as long as the diameter.

The diagram shown below is an example of pieces which can be made to compete the puzzle. Other combinations of pieces are however possible. It would be fun to design your own unique puzzle. Select your pieces in such a way that the puzzle won't fall apart when it is put together. In the text of the wooden knot puzzle is indicated how you can saw the pieces.
